I usually just put it on low heat on the stove in a small pan and melt it before I use it. Some people put it in a container and put the container in hot water to melt the oil. Just do what works for you. It seems easier to work with melted or at least softened. And yes I bet you could use turbinado and have it turn out good.Tammiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03519210216151040312noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7015641473202244138.post-9107747223815929892009-11-23T17:48:31.216-07:002009-11-23T17:48:31.216-07:00How about using hard white wheat? Hyssop is known for helping with coughs and congestion.

After you strain the herbs off the vinegar after six weeks the four thieves vinegar should keep for a long time in a cool, dark place. I would put it in a amber glass jar with a tight fitting lid. It won't go bad and I think it should have pretty good medicinal properties for at least a couple years maybe more. If slime starts growing in it don't worry that's just the mother from the raw vinegar it won't hurt you in fact it is good for you!Tammiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03519210216151040312noreply@blogger.com
