I think I'll try this one instead and add a little carob powder to the frosting. Every time I can replace a much-enjoyed recipe with one that is similar, but healthy, I feel so happy and excited to feed my family better food.

Thanks Tammie!
--DianeAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7015641473202244138.post-33700881353613112752011-05-19T12:53:07.149-06:002011-05-19T12:53:07.149-06:00That was probably my problem, I tried spreading th...That was probably my problem, I tried spreading the frosting on and cutting them before they were totally cool, let alone cold from the fridge. I'll make sure I put them in the fridge first next time.Sarah Gibbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08631499693509851377noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7015641473202244138.post-60362375953497693862011-05-17T13:33:42.245-06:002011-05-17T13:33:42.245-06:00Sarah: Bummer these are super good. It's those times I blame it on the weather or something. ;) My trouble shooting ideas would be either more coconut oil or egg replacer to help them hold together or maybe see what kind of whole wheat flour you were using I used hard white wheat. It's less heavy. They should stay together pretty well. Oh but one thing, I did refrigerate mine because coconut oil does become liquid at 76 degrees. So if they get warm at all they will get very crumbly and fall apart.Tammiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03519210216151040312noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7015641473202244138.post-48314806924480642542011-05-17T11:23:43.366-06:002011-05-17T11:23:43.366-06:00I totally failed making this recipe.
