Vanilla Milkshake Recipe (Dairy Free)

This milkshake recipe is totally dairy free, super easy to make, healthy and delicious!  A perfect guilt free way to satisfy those milkshake cravings!

Healthy Vanilla Milkshake
2 cans coconut milk
2 frozen bananas
1 Tablespoon melted coconut oil
2 Tablespoons Agave
1 small handful macadamia nuts
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon guar gum, optional
Vanilla bean , just the inside scraped out (optional)
4 cups ice

In blender blend everything but ice until smooth.  Add ice blend again until smooth.  Drink right away or if you like a really thick milkshake, place in freezer for 1-2 hours then stir well and drink!  This is so good, it does have a little banana flavor if you don't like that you could try using young coconut meat frozen instead.

Came over from FIMBY. I'm curious about what the guar gum would be for?

Oh now this sounds so good right now. I bet a handful of berries in it would be excellent.

Kika: It's for texture. It kind of thickens it and holds it together not really needed especially if you like your milkshakes drinkable.
