It looks delicious. However, I have a question about vegenaise. As far as I know it is made of soy protein isolate, which depletes your body of minerals by inhibiting their absorption. I would like to hear what you think about it. Is there another alternative that is dairy and egg free that you use?

Jennet: I use the vegenaise that is the Grapeseed oil base. It does contain some soy protein (it doesn't say isolate) I personly don't really like to eat stuff with soy. I have been looking for and trying some other alternatives. For some things I have made a "mayo" with almonds that works good on a lot of things. I do feel like it's better then some of the other options and makes a okay transition food. Just be sure it's the grapeseed version so it has less soy. And let me know if you ever hear of a better kind!

Looks yummy! My kids love sweet potato fries, but everytime I make them they turn out soggy. Any tips on how to crisp them up?

TheShippenFamily: Having them coated well with oil, and not touching each other on the pan the oven preheated and maybe even the pan. Turning every ten minutes. Cooking a little longer and/or hotter may help too. They will not get as crisp as regular fries they are more like squash but if you kind of tend them they can have a kind of crisp outside with a soft center.

I make almondaise as well and use it instead of mayo in dishes. I would like to have sth like veganasie in the fridge to use in a pinch. I will definitely check out the kind with grapeseed oil. Thank you!
